Math Circles of Chicago (MC2) is unusual in its approach to helping children develop a passion for mathematics. MC2 provides unique math enrichment programs outside of regular school hours and across Chicago for 3rd - 12th graders of diverse backgrounds to equip children to excel in STEM fields in college and beyond. These programs are low cost or, in many cases, free.

Our mission is to create meaningful and fun experiences that enable any student and educator to develop their mathematical power ðŸ’ª and build a sense of belonging to choose their own mathematical pathway.

Our programs include:

  • Math Circles at Hubs or in After School Programs
  • Summer Camps
  • Math Festivals
  • QED, Chicago's Youth Math Symposium
  • College Pathways

 

Math Circles of Chicago offers engaging, flexible, and low-cost or oftentimes free math programs to students in grades 3–12. We focus on reaching Black and Latino communities and other communities where most children live in low-income households.
